Stef & Kerri another one night only adult trip with just the 2 of us. The boys are in OK doing an auction. After a fun morning SUPing down the Salt River with Kace and Col we hit the road, stopped at Founding Fathers for a quick drink and a snack, arrived at the cabin about 5pm. Nice mellow evening with amazing chicken parm and Cesar salad! Stef has the yips and hasn't hit the bell in too long. I think I'm jinxed with the almost extra mark I made after Inga marked my last hit but I didn't realize it... this has to be fixed soon!! Sunday morn Kerri got to watch the Browns from the patio, quite a treat. She learned that a loss is easier to watch from the mountains. There were several deer hanging around the hill. They haven't but up this far before but it's great to see them from the patio. Maybe they are hiding from all the stupid gun fire. The target shooting sounds very close! The Aspens are a beautiful yellow and the reds and oranges are starting to pop. The next few weeks will be very colorful!! We're getting good at the quick one nighters up here, definitely back soon to check out more of the brilliant fall colors. The drive seems to get shorter each time, although construction has started on the 17 so we'll see how the next 18-24 months go. Godspeed.
