Brian and Stef up for a quick night to start the winterization process. Headed up early Saturday morning because arriving after 5pm this time of year is not ideal! The fire warms things up quickly. We made carne asada tacos even though grilling in these temps is hard, we crave the cold after the long, hot summer. We played an epic game of Scrabble, Stef won by a very small margin. Had Gilbert on face time for much of the game, felt like he was back in Arizona for an evening. Temp in Indy and temp in Prescott were very similar! Things were very quiet on the mountain, making for a cozy overnight adventure. Next time though, we won't get the fire quite as roaring before bed. The temp spiked in the middle of the night, it was a warm, very warm sleep.

Very light snowfall on the mountain when we left for home, and we went through a pretty heavy hailstorm in Mayer. No damage to the Jeep.
