Brian & Stef up with Tammy Lynn. Brought Imogene with the new trailer. Stef & Tam drove Imogene from mailboxes. Forest looks dry but the Aspen trees are gleaming and welcoming us back. There are pockets of charred trees on the south side of the road as you get toward the 261 split. Across from Kippa there are some pretty burnt areas. They did an amazing job containing the fire to the south side of the forest road. We met Brian (last name pronounced just like it's spelled) who's building just up the road on a parcel of Rod's old land. Also met the engineer Bill and his wife Jamie, they got the land that used to have the trail that drops you into Yankee Doodle. That trail is moving to it's original location so that it isn't on their property! They plan to start building in September. Andrea is in the fire-tower now, Brian went up and met her and got a good look at the fire scar. It got pretty darn close! The land cleared by Kippa looks pretty good. It will be so nice to get our land cleared too, beetles be dammed.

Stef is fully obsessed with Ozark and watched several episodes on the patio throughout the day and into the eve between walks to the fire-tower and Imogene rides. Charlie even got into Ozark at one point. Believe it or not this was just Tam's 2nd trip up to RoseCampAZ. We're gonna have to correct that. Summer is here, hallelujah!
