More water hauling. Stopped in at Prescott Water Station on E Z St. to fill up, much easier than hauling up the 17! Peeked into the Founding Fathers, cool little Co Op that our wine gal Kinsley told us about. They have a great outdoor patio, a lil creek, tons of beers on tap, coffee bar and a barber shop! We'll go back sometime for a full stop in. In prep for our upcoming Grand Canyon trek the whole crew heads out on Yankee Doodle trail Saturday morning. Brian, Stef, Charlie, Jay, Inga, Maddie, Mia and Lady Bird. We go out and down about 2.25 miles and when we turn to head back, which is mostly up, Mia understands that going up can be much, much harder. We persevere and it's a beautiful hike. We do learn that we are not quite ready for the Grand Canyon. We finalize the RoseCampAZ logo and Inga starts working on the swag. Sweatshirts, tanks, tees and stickers soon to come. We build and hang a shelf in our room, still need a new carpet! Jay and co. head out early Sunday, Maddie has some kind of piñata to make. Before departure there's a big Spring clean out!! Young Buff was in need of a good vacuum. Brian and Stef stay behind and do windows and floors, things are looking sharp. The next weekend up will be with the Ragnar girls.
